Atlas VII and Atlas IX are standalone battery storage facilities in La Paz County, Arizona. Atlas VII contributes 300 MW / 1,200 MWh and Atlas IX contributes 150 MW / 600 MWh, creating a combined 450 MW / 1,800 MWh four-hour storage portfolio.

Qcells delivered the projects as EPC contractor. The facilities provide capacity and energy supporting California grid resilience through 15-year resource-adequacy contracts with Southern California Edison. Their scale allows stored energy to be dispatched when system demand and reliability needs are highest.
