Capacity made physical.

Silver Peak is a 279 MW battery energy storage facility with 1,116 MWh of stored energy. The power-to-energy ratio gives the project a four-hour discharge duration at its rated output, placing substantial dispatchable capacity behind a single operating site.

The installation converts stored DC energy into grid-synchronized AC power through distributed power-conversion equipment, then collects that output through the project electrical system for delivery to the grid. Its operating status is the proof point: this is infrastructure in service, not capacity shown on a development map.
